Linky Party and Summer To Do List

I found a summer linky party over at Kindergarten Lifestyle.  This one is super fun and a lot of great blogs have linked up to talk about You know it is summer when.... here is my ending.

Lets talk To Do Lists! Mine is LONG. The only item on the planet that is longer than my summer to do list would have to be the Great Wall in China. Here are a few of my items I want to accomplish this summer:
1. Create 10 new items for my TN and TPT stores.
2. Make a Teacher Tool Box
3. Plan out a rough sketch of science and social studies for the WHOLE year.
4. Plan and create my presentation for the Common Core conference I am presenting at!
5. Plan out the first month of school.
6. Plan my parent night and meet and greet night
7. Create a new filing system and Sub Kit.

These are just a few items I hope to get done this summer! As you can tell I am a teacher who doesn't stop working over the summer. I also hope to get some of these items checked off while sitting poolside!

More Polka Dot Items

I am on a roll!  Here is the last set in my Polka Dot Collection. Every calendar needs the Months of the Year cards. These cards go with the Classroom Set and the Word Wall Letters. I would love some comments on what everyone thinks about the sets.  I am thinking of making other sets but don't know if I should or not.

Word Wall Letters Freebie

Polka Dot Classroom Set

I was looking for a couple of items to go with what I already bought for back to school and I just couldn't find anything that I liked....So...I made my own. Here is a polka dot classroom set. It includes the following items:

* Calendar Cards (1-31)
* Days of the week
* Today, tomorrow and yesterday
* How I get home posters
* Desk name plates
* Rectangle blank labels
* Circle blank labels

New Classroom Design

School has just ended and I am already deciding how I will decorate my new classroom. Since there will be 7 first grade classrooms instead of 6 at my school one of the 2nd grade teachers were going to be asked to move into a different classroom. Once I found out which room it was I volunteered myself to move. My new room is way bigger and has a HUGE walk-in closet. I am in love with my new room. With a new room comes new decorations.

My items come from the Black and White collection from Creative Teaching. I am so excited to get back into my room in July to start putting up all my new items. I will post pictures once my room is done. Here are all the items that I have purchased so far!
